replace the sponge sp540

can anyone tell me how to replace the sponge it is beside the caps? thanks

Reach in with tweezers or pliers (to keep you fingers clean of ink) and pull from center, then just slip the new sponge into the space. Check your caps, clean your wipers and wiper scraper, and do a good manual cleaning...while you're doing maintenance may as well do the rest.
