reprogramming print head JV3-75 spII

I posted here about a month ago about replacing the cyan head on my mimaki JV3-75 SPII. I finally got around to it and did it myself. the only thing left is to reprogram the head code into the machine. Everything is properly put together, I just need to somehow change the serial code so the printer recognizes the new print head. I powered up the machine as an administrator so the #adjust options are available. Please advise ASAP.
