RJ 6000 Y Sensor Error

I am troubleshooting an older than 6000. Startup gets a y sensor error during startup. I don’t see a plug on the motherboard for the y sensor, and don’t see the sensor on the side like the other Mutoh printers I am more familiar with.

any ideas? Thanks.

I think I found it. Built into the motor.

Y could be Yellow. Check if your cartridge properly inserted.

Thanks Attila N. Got that part fixed. Now I have a network. Init. Err. Tried another network card, same error. Network cable tests good, and the switch shows activity, but still shows the error.

starting to think this thing is possessed.
