Roland BN-20 Colour Issue

Hello, first post but I've never had a Roland problem before :)

I have a Roland BN-20 about 6 years old, it's been bomb proof and never had any issues. Bought from new. It tends to do small amounts of printing most days, probably 100mm of vinyl so low use.
The last few weeks the Red has looked weak, dark blues also look a bit faded. I would say there's a lack of Magenta going down.
I've cleaned, changed the rubber wiper and felt wiper, changed the capping station and have a new set of inks, it's running the Max3 ink.
None of the above has made any difference, the nozzle print is good, some drop out in the magenta but this will disappear or move around after a clean.
In the VersaStudio RIP I've increased the magenta and yellow but still get an orangy red, this also causes a bit of magenta overspray and I've not had to mess with the colour before.
I'm thinking a head soak next, but possibly a damper issue? They are all original, would welcome any advice.
Thanks
Rob

Could you show a photo of the issue, as well as a photo of the nozzle test / Test Print? This might help us to diagnose the problem and what you'll need to change. It does however sound like it may be the Magenta damper failing.

Thanks for the reply Jim. I've attached two photos, one of the test print. This shows the Magenta drop out although after a clean this will go or move around. There's also a photo of how it was printing approx 3 weeks ago, top of image and today bottom of image. It looks more of an orangey red, also a bit of magenta haze because because the magenta level is turned up with the yellow to +5 to try and get a better red.

Thank you for sending that. There is some damage to the magenta, looks like you had a head strike, it certainly explains the magenta overspray. Someone else might have a different suggestion, but based on what you show, a new head is in order. If you got 6 years out of this first one, that's pretty decent.
