Roland BN-20 vs PrismJET DT2

Hello Veterans of Sign Business,
I'm hoping to get some help from you.
What should I get?
Roland BN-20 for $8-9k
or
PrismJET DT2 printer + Graphtec CraftROBO PRO-15 package for $6-7k
If Anybody have this kind of equipment , I would appreciate any comments, suggestions etc.
I'm planning to print vinyl, decals and small signs.
Thanks in advance.

Buy a used roland sp 30 in. Or vp. Anything used really. Unless you got big bucks go with a brand new one. I was also contemplating the bn20. I waited a bit longer. Got some cash saved up. Got financing and now getting a 54in. Mimaki printer/cutter.

Hi, im new to this forum, but have been running a BN20 for around 5 months now.

The only issue i have with the BN20 is the speed, if your very very busy the BN20 is not the fastest machine out there, my production is at its limits with the BN20 now and in hindsight i should have gone with a bigger machine to get faster delivery of my printing.

...I use it for product labels for our company which is our main use, but also do vinyl lettering for cars/vans shop front, Ive also made stickers, wall art and small T-shirt runs etc etc.... i cant fault it for what it does as a "desktop" printer solution.
