roland camm1 24" not responding to poll size

recently My computer got infected with some virus, so i had to restore my entire system. so far everything is working great. no virus's. but my plotter wont respond to the poll size button. it works it cuts seems to adjust to any chages made. but just wont send back the size info.

i use flex 7

I wonder if my anti virus (norton) might be blocking the signal somehow?
