Roland CJ-500 Question

I read somewhere that I can put a PEN where the cutter is and use it to draw. Anyone ever done this or know where I would get this pen? And whats the beinfit of the pen if I can just print the file? I have printed a floorplan from cad and it looked great, I dont see how it would look better drawn with a pen..

[learned the hard way]

With a printer/cutter I don't see that the plotter pen would be of any real value, because you can just print a line drawing. But for people who have just a cutter (no printer), the plotter pen could come in handy for such tasks.
