Roland EGX-600 & Boss Laser

I have a EGX-600 (purchased when it had just come out)... you can get away with using Roland's software. Dr Engrave, 3D Engrave, Virtual MODELA, etc... but I used Artcam instead.
I'd build all my toolpaths in Artcam and save out the .rol format... which I'd load into a front end processor to run the gcode.
Sadly, Artcam is gone, and the software I used to just run the gcode is lost (was a spanish company, was free, and lost when my PC hard drive died)
So, now I'm using Roland's softare (It's horrible)

Use Dr engrave (free) or vcarve (paid). Depending on your frequency of use and job complexity.
