Roland LEJ640 print gloss onto existing press sheets

I have the pleasure of trying to basically 'imprint' gloss ink onto a logo on 19x25 press sheets to give it a pop, they want UV and our press cannot perform this inline so somehow I have to hit it perfectly on our LEJ640 hybrid after the fact. I have spent a few hours putting in one sheet at a time and seeing where it prints it then I measure how off it is and tweak the PDF file. Over and over I have done this and still cannot get it exact. Even when I put a sheet in and print and then put a 2nd one in with same settings and position they never match. One could be farther off than previous sheet. This big brained idea came from management and I said no way could I send 500 press sheets one by one through this machine and get one small 2 inch x 1 inch rectangular logo directly where it needs to go. So far I have done 15 sheets and I have not even come close.

Has anyone ever tried something like this?

I don't think versaworks and even the LEJ640 is smart enough to line up exactly with settings.

What I have done file wise is take my 19x25 ripped PDF out of XMF and deleted everything out except the logo. In versaworks I selected special effects and use the special color plate as gloss for the print area. I would then drop a sheet into the printer and print and see how off I am and then I would measure and tweak the PDF and try again. So my main issue is not being able to line it all up. Setting the basepoint hasn't worked either.

Let's save money and try in house they say!! Rubbish.
