Roland print head trouble

Can anyone tell me what is happening here. We had a head replaced on the VP300 and am getting this test print pattern. Is the head no good or is there a solution to this?

put a new cap top in first then pull some ink through. If head is new it maybe a leak around seal.

Is there ink in that line's damper? Lots of things to try, and should be pretty easy to troubleshoot.

bad seal on the damper or cap. I usually replace dampers with a head if they haven't been already replaced within the last year or so.

I think it's the damper has clogged or not sealing properly. Change the o ring seal. Usually the ink will turn back into ink cartridge if there is a leak
