Roland printer convert to Nutec Inks

Hi,

I got a roland Xj740 for nearly three years now, i run on original eco sol max inks from roland, i was suggest to shift to bulk ink system and to use Nutec inks. Apart from the price of the ink which is very much cheaper do you think that it would be wise to do such modifications on the printer??
can someone help me on this issue from past experience.

I've tried the Nutec ink in cartridge form (440cc) on our VP-540. I dont think you will have any issues in terms of damage, but we struggled to get colours right. If we printed a blue that we knew was a deep blue with Roland Ink, it would come out purple with Nutec Ink. Also 100% black would come out Maroonish. Printing photo images were fine but any colour matching is a nightmare.
