roland sc 540 ex help vinyl cutting

Got a question. When I do a vinyl cutting job, the vinyl wants to pre-feed all the way out, the length of the cut. Then it pulls it all back in and begins the cutting process. It's slow. Is there any way to turn that feature off? So it will just start cutting immediately? I just got this machine. Unfortunately I'm having to learn everything on my own. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Under menu on the printer you will find 'cutting menu', there you will find an option for 'pre-feed' that you can turn on or off. Just make sure you pre-spool out your material when it is on a roll or it will jerk it really hard.
