Please help!

I have a VP540 and over the last few years - intermittently:banghead: - I would get a message that the printer has disconnected. Now it's happening again and won't come back. It's connected through a router. I've tried directly connecting with a crossover cable, I've updated the firmware and Versaworks. I've assigned static IP's. I can't even ping it from a dos prompt. It started working again for about an hour, then disconnected in the middle of a print and won't come back. I saw other's were having the same problem but I don't see any real solutions. The printer keeps saying "service call 0010"

I'm at the end of my rope! Please Help!!!

I did read through that thread and others too. I've tried all that except the main board replacement. My tech support says if the main board was bad it would never connect. I'm getting sporadic connections.

I'm done for tonight with this thing :( maybe it will work tomorrow...:doh:
