Roland SG3-540 - Time for new print heads?

So unfortunately we had a scan motor erroer due to a head strike Yesterday, everything seemed fine afterwards & we continued printing.

However this morning we can only print magenta & yellow. Seems very unlucky if this has killed both printheads also odd to me that the one channel on each appears to be absolutely fine?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, photos attached for reference.

Make sure that it is sealing properly on the cap top. I had a similar issue happen to my SG-300 a few years back, turned out the head wasn't sealing to the cap top. Did end up needing a new head due to actual damage making it not sit well, but I don't really see damage. I don't see any issues with the black head. There is damage to the magenta / yellow head. Also make sure there is ink in the cyan / black Dampers.

we had a similar issue with our SC545-ex, quite a while back.
it can be an exercise in patience to decide if your head strike knocked something "out of square" or if it is printhead
sealing surface damage.

couldn't hurt to pull ink through the captops with a syringe

Thanks for your replies, can you tell me how know tell if the print heads are sealing correctly and how to fix it if they aren't?
