Need Help Roland sg540 thinks cyan is empty

In the middle of a print I had to my black ink cartridge and simultaneously had a print jam on the edge of the vinyl. After reseting the jam I replaced the black ink. I took the opportunity to shake up the other three ink cartridges. Now the indicator show me the cyan cartridge is empty, however, they are all full. I tried putting a piece of cardboard over the ink pouch but that did not help. My printer is out of warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I fixed the problem. I took apart the left side where the ink goes. The tray must not have been making contact with the little sensor at the end of the box where the cartridge slides. If someone else is having this problem, a few layers of masking tape on the cartridge next to the ink hole should help them make contact.
