Need Help Roland SJ-1045EX not printing reliably; nozzles and heads dropping out

The company I work for bought a used Roland SJ-1045EX off eBay that worked perfectly when it was put into storage (yes, yes, I know, big red flag there...). It's been a nightmare since then. Most of the heads have been replaced at this point, all of the ink caps and dampers, the wiper, the lines have been flushed, and the bulk ink system cleaned to make sure there was no residual partially-dried ink, new bottles of ink (same inks we use in our other Roland and Mimaki with no problems), and so on. We've had a technician come out multiple times at the cost of a few thousand dollars each time, and still don't have a reliable printer. After this last time the printer technician came out, it was working. ...For a few hours. I had enough time to build a rough profile (not enough time to get the output to perfectly match our other printers), and then when I ran a cleaning cycle, this is what it puked out (see attached image). Ink doesn't seem to be draining from the ink caps on the C bank (the far right cyan and magenta heads); without running a cleaning cycle, ink pools in the caps, and nozzles drop out. But this time, everything else started dropping out as I tried to run cleaning, and now the A bank is fucked.

I'm at my wits' end, and my boss is pissed that he's sunk about $20K into this boat anchor so far, and has nothing to show for it.

Does anyone have any ideas? Right now, my best guesses are air leak somewhere (meaning all lines and seals would need to be completely replaced), or a misaligned capping station and/or wiper that isn't working properly.

In other news, I'm trying to convince my boss to look at an HP Stitch S1000, but can't get any of the HP sales reps to return a call or e-mail. So, that's cool too.

EDIT: An HP rep got in touch with me after I posted this, and forwarded information to appropriate sales reps. And about five minutes after *that* our equipment sales VP let me know that an HP sales specialist had gotten in touch with him. So never mind on that.
