Roland SP 300v question....cutting when ink out

Hello everyone, long time visitor first time poster.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to cut vinyl with my sp 300v when there is an ink cartridge is empty.

Take out the empty cart and put a piece of tape over the tab that has popped out so it keeps in. Put the cart back in and you're good to go. Remember to change it then when you get a new one.
