Roland sp300 not printing right,

Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me please, I have a Roland sp300 and it was printing and cutting perfect until the last time when have way through printing it started printing just solid cyan and black constantly over the full media, if anyone could help that would be great, thank you

Definitely a communication issue. I would check the ribbon cables to the heads. Clean the encoder strip and the machine on a whole.

Hi, so I gave the encoder a wipe with a dry cloth and the took all the plastic coverings of the print heads, then slowly and one at a time I pulled out the ribbons to the print heads and reinserted making sure they were in probably, put it all back together and switched it on and hit test print, (prayed a lot aswell) and it’s working perfect again,
