Need Help Roland Sp540v Media detection Fail

Good day, Im in a pickle with my Sp540v, all of a sudden when I load media and put the lever down, nothing happens, then when lever is lifted. it goes and looks for media width and return with 0mm.
Even with no vinyl loaded and I put lever down, nothing happens. The Carriage cable card was replaced less then a month ago. Does anyone please have any idea where to look or what might be the issue please.

Did you do the limit initialization after the cable change?

netsol Ribbon connector was not changed, our local Roland service agents installed the cable card. and yes Zoogee World after cable card installation the technician did do a limit initialization.

About a week ago we had a huge storm and it kinda rained in a few drops ontop of the printer at the lever side, we did however dry it up asap. could a few drops perhaps go in and caused this issue?
