Roland SV-15 cut through on long cuts.(Solution found

I have the small format SV-15 for doing smaller stickers and such. For the past several weeks I have been having a problem with it cutting long straight lines. Not that it couldn't cut straight lines, but was going too deep into the material and cutting through. I assumed my blade was dull, but then he was cutting everything fine except for those long lines. (Up 33") Every time it cut through and caused the vinyl to get out of shape and ruin the whole piece.
After much deliberation and changing of the blade to various depths, and changing the positon of the blade when I placed it in the holder(thinking it wasn't aligned right), I finally got it to cut a 32" line without cut-through. The other cuttings however, the parts of the design that normally cut really well, are weedable, but some parts are barely but through. So without a doubt I have determined that this is all caused by a dull blade.
I am posting this for anyone who might have the same problem and looking for a solution. I didn't find hardly anything on here for the SV-15, which is understandable since it's not really a "sign" machine, more like a decal machine.
Anywho; for what's it worth, there is my two cents on the subject.

Thanks a lot!
