Roland tech and Roland dealer in my area

I'm in Deltona between Orlando and Daytona - anyone know of a tech who would come out and service? Also looking to get a new machine, preferably Roland, looking for a local dealer. Right now I've been fixing my super old sp-300 and have come to a point I can't fix the current problem. Any referrals would be appreciated.

close maintenance cover error - got new part but does not work when installed (which I had tested and the part is good) . I have it rigged to bypass it so I could print over the holidays but I really need to clean my print heads but even in service mode it won't allow it.

You can power off and unplug the printer, move down the capping station and do a manual cleaning.

Yeah, I had just figured out something similiar before I saw this. I still need to either get this fixed and still want to start looking at getting a new machine. But thank you.

If the sensor didn't fix the issue, might be the board the sensor goes to.

You might have better luck finding a nearby Roland tech by checking local directories; I’ve bumped into solid service folks through tools like Local Business Explorer before, since it points you to people actually working in your area. For the SP-300 hiccup, a lot of independent techs around Orlando and Daytona still touch those older models, and some of them also sell refurbished or new Roland units if you’re thinking of upgrading.

Grimco just recently started selling and servicing Roland in Orlando (and altamont springs i think). I get all of my vinyl, tape and ink from them. I still have my SP-300V running, and have had to do all service myself. I havent had to use them for service yet so i cant say if they're any good.
