Need Help Roland TrueVis VG3-540 Orange problem

Hi,
We are experiencing an issue while printing orange on our Roland TrueVis VG3-540. Last week we had a head replaced and the issue started to occur following this. Additionally, we installed Versaworks 7 last week (haven’t been utilizing it but thought I’d mention it as another factor). When printing any of the saved orange or any colors that mix with orange we have in Flexi, the result is as follows: Orange = yellow with lines. Any other color = absence of orange i.e. red is purple. Interestingly enough, we tried printing an orange off of the Roland Color System Library, and it printed just fine. We’re not sure what might be causing this. To start troubleshooting this, we printed large blocks of orange in an effort to draw out any air or air bubbles in the line. No luck on this. Next, we tried several powerful cleanings, manual cleanings, shaking the ink cartridges, and nozzle tests. At first, the nozzle tests showed about 70% of the lines, but gradually reduced as we performed more cleanings. Following this, we decided to look into the software side. Inside Versaworks 6, we tried changing the media type, Mode (10p vs 12p), presets (True Rich color 3, etc.), and color adjustment (changing the orange to the highest level). No change here, so we tried to print inside Versaworks 7 to see if that might be different. No change here either. Next we looked at the Flexi side of things, and tried to change the flexi colors from RGB to CMYK, to Lab colors, spot colors, etc. No change here either. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Pictures include the nozzle tests and the print output of roland colors vs flexi colors. Thanks!

Is there ink in the line and damper? Did the Orange work when the head was first replaced? Is the cap top new?

Yes, but we don't know if it could be an issue with the new head. The issue did not present itself until after the head had been replaced. Prior to the installing of the new head, the orange printed fine.

The head that was replaced, I'm assuming it wasn't the Orange Head? If it was working perfect before and there hasn't been any head strikes or anything, it could be the cap top, maybe the new one you replaced it with isn't sitting right, did you try putting the old one back in and seeing if that helped any.
