If you print using density control only in versaworks, and make sure yellow is pure yellow on the artwork it will print only using the yellow head and give you the best result

any suggestions?

If I use 100% yellow in a CMYK artwork and then look at it with a glass there's flecks of magenta all through it. To get 'pure' yellow you need to select 'preserve primary colours' in Versaworks 5.
