That looks like the ink bladder inside the head has burst. This will make ink overflow from the metal casing of the head and cause this sort of leakage. Clean the head off around the sides and see if you can see see ink seeping from there. I dont think ink is leaking from above the head as normally if this happens it will short the head and it won't print anything at all.

But check the top of the head too, a cracked manifold can also cause a lot of ink spillage and sometimes it can miss the head and come out the side of where the head mounts
