Hello all,
We have a ROLAND VersaCAMM VP-300i that has an error 0004.
It states the Servo Board should be replaced.
The board has an led that does not light when powered on, we have checked the fuses.
Issue looks similar to this:
What does "drop the cap station" mean?
Any insights? Is it worth getting new PCB or PCB repair?
Anyone know what fails on the boards? Perhaps it is just a bad/old capacitor in the powersupply?
I tried to have a look in the service manual - but hard to trace the power reference in online version (https :// www. scribd .com/ doc/ 290022670/ Sevice-Maunual-Roland-VP-540-VP-300)
Had a look a roland and it states the error is motor related:
Weird that the device states its servo board?
Kind regards,
