I am sure you pulled it out and tried it again getting the same error.
Try pushing the edge of the cartridge a little towards the back of the printer (wiggle the cartridge) to see if it might be just a slight alignment/connection issue.
If not, could be a defective chip.
If you running Dual CMYK, swap the two magentas and try again.
Yeah I tried a few times , I put the old one back in and had no issues . I am not running the dual setup so I can't test like that. I just find it wired for this to happen with a OEM ink set.
Agreed. Send it back and get it replaced. Thousands and Thousands of cartridges sold daily it's prob just a bad sensor. Dont spend too much time on it.
