Just dealt with this issue last week. Turn everything off. While off replace data cable With a new one and use a different USB slot on your computer. Then reboot. At least for me this solved the issue.
For anyone who will read this post:
1. If software doesn't send data to the machine - lan cable should be replaced because it's broken.
2. if you power on the machine and is just stuck in the menu switch it off and remove the power from the back keep it a few seconds without power to empty the transitors and then plug in and power on.
