I have searched the manual and cant figure this out . Printer was printing just 1 hour ago , print stopped and screen showed SETUP SHEET . I can't get it to detect media . I also remember by moving the media arm up on down the load or unload the media it used to beep , it no longer beeps , but maybe that is due to it not finding the media and it hasnt gotten to that phase yet. If anyone can help I will gladly pay . Like I said it was printing all weekend and just and hour agao it quit . Yes I powered down , unplugged and did a few power cycles and it just wont work .

Roland VS-300i .

I belive it's something to do with the ( rear paper sensor ) but I can't find it , I can cleary see it in the PDF service manual but I can't see it on the machine . I'm thinking its under one of those small holes ?

It is on the right side of the bed as you look at the printer. There are two, one at the front and one at the back. The hole is about 10mm wide by 5mm tall, not the small holes ( these are for the air suction ). If you shine a torch into the hole you will see two small black circles that the sensor emitter and receiver.
If you need replacements I have them in stock

You can see it here on a VS300, position will be approx the same on yours. The rear sensor is in the same position but further back
