Need Help Roland VS420 Ink

Hello,
I have a Roland VS420, each time I get to use it, it has excess Yellow in the print and often a blob of Yellow drops onto the print.
No problems after it’s been in use and ink gets used.
Any ideas why I keep getting this?

You might want to take a look at the dampers, cap top and the printheads. Dampers and cap top should be changed once a year. Life span for a printhead is about 3-5 years depends on the usage and maintenance. Of course use quality ink..

Thank you for your advice.
It is new head and Capping fitted two weeks ago. I have just lowered to Capping and so far so good.

Fingers crossed. I will see what happens tomorrow...

You want to make sure the printhead itself is periodically cleaned like once a week minimum. There might be dust gathering around the head and the more you print, the ink will drip onto the material. Clean with swabs and cleaning solution.
