Roland XC540 Motor error

We had a head strike on Banner Material
Motor Error Turn Power Off/ Scan Motor error code: 0010 0010
any help would be appreciated.

Thoughts on the scan motor error...

Must have been a real good strike...

Scan motor deviation error. The machine is very confused right now. The servo in the scan motor is sending information that does not jive with what the mainboard is expecting.

1. Turn off the main power. Unplug the machine for a minute or two. Press the front power button a few time with the machine unplugged.
2. Make the the cut carriage/print carriage are connected, and pushed over all the way to the right to the capping position.
3. Plug in the machine. Turn on main power, then front power.

Still have problems? Then you may need to to a Limit Initialize. Let me know and I'll go through the procedure.

Tried it still getting scan motor error, turn power off. It was a good Strike!
