Hey all - We have a Roland XR640 and we're trying to print on Avery MPI1105SC. The print has a few shades of grey in it as well as black and white. The light grey is BK11, the dark grey is BK17. Black is BK22. We're setting the spot colours in Versaworks, head speed is 400. We're getting banding *only* on BK17. Calibration is +0.05. Black and BK11 print perfectly. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks!
Phae

I had a similar issue, i found cycling through the colour management presets solved the issue. i usually use the sign and display option as it manages to print as close to whats on the screen in most cases but i found true rich colour 2 handled the grey perfectly.

It wont always match whats on the screen but it got rid of the grey banding and luckily the customer isnt too fussed on the others colours having abit more depth to them.

Hope this helps.
