Rolling up large masked piece

I have a large graphic that we just masked and need to send to a client.
Does anyone know if it's best to roll it up with the mask on the inside or the outside for best protection?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions, just wasn't sure if it made a difference or not but didn't want to take any chances :)

Definitely on the outside.
If you ever get the chance, roll one with the mask on the inside, and you'll see why.

Yeah, once you roll up a long print with tape on the inside and get to the jobsite and unroll it... You can hear yourself saying ... "AAAWWWW MAAANNNN" or something along those lines.

ALSO be gentle with your rolling, work with the natural curl of the material. I don't usually roll large masked vinyl tighter than fits into an 8x8 corrugated box, rolling too tight can give you similar issues to rolling it the wrong way.
