What are the deciding factors to determine what type of laminate needs to be used for a given material/application?
This feels like a super amateur question but hey, this is Signs101 not Signs435
The extent of my knowledge is that you should use a lam that matches the base material; so calendared poly lam with calendared poly sav, cast lam with cast sav, etc.
(we only really use calendared PVC SAV, so luckily we aren't dealing with cast vinyls)
For example –
Do I always have to use a PVC lam with PVC vinyl?
Can I ever use PET/PP lam with PVC vinyl?
Should I avoid using PVC lam on printed PP?
If a decal starts to peel prematurely but no one is around to see it, is it still premature?
