Hello everybody
I would like to ask about my problem or if anybody meet with similar issue any advice is highly appreciated. I have read a lot of threads with similar issues with overspray but none like my.
When I print a canvas on high quality setting the blue overspray lower the quality of whole image with also a lot of cyan overspray over the picture borders.
When I print the same graphics on high speed the overspray doesn't happen.
The head height is on low.
The basic test print is normal.
The humidity in room is high.
Problematic is the detailed bi-directional test print where No.2 & No.4 cyan lines are completely missing and only some small overspray is visible. like in the attached picture (sorry for bad light & quality)
I found out in Roland instructions guide that that No.2 & No.4 are for smaller dot setting - this means for higher quality setting.
I have read that most of the threads end out with need of head change, but these are my questions.
1, How is it possible that by higher speed the printed result is OK? If the head would be faulty would it not be in reverse order?
2, If the head would be faulty logically the problem would be to print larger drops instead of smaller dost which are used with higher quality setting right?
I am looking forward for any hints or suggestions.
Peter
