Safe Cure Time for Metal Clad Paint

Installing vinyl on newly painted metal sheeting (Deluxe Metal Clad in Safety Red) The spec. sheet calls fto wait 16 hours for recoat and 30 days for cleaning the surface. I'm assuming that it means 30 days for full cure. I'm guessing the 30 days is overkill for vinyl application but I want to make sure it's not going to fall off.
Does anyone have any experience with this or similar products?
How long is relatively Safe?
The surface is curing at room temperature.

Thanks for any advice!
