Mine never look that bad. Perhaps they weren't cleaned frequently enough. The capping station just looks to need cleaned well. I don't expect to see the staining between nozzles on the head like that. How does the nozzle check look?

Hi, thanks for your response.
the printer is brand new, less than 2 weeks.
test print is still good but I had to clean between nozzles to avoid inks drips.
It ain't normal so the Tech will come with some parts next week.

may I ask you another question?
could you tell me about the setting you have
on 'Cleaning while in standby'

The installer left it at OFF
on the menu you can chose from off or a time between 1 -240 hrs
and medium or heavy?

thanks again
( I come from a roland environment ... I get a bit puzzled :) )
ain't alot of user to user ressources on the net for that beast

It appears that you could be having a damper issue. When the damper goes bad, it will leak out of the head and collect on the area between the nozzles. I just had a similar issue and replaced the duct/damper assembly.
