Hi,
We have buy some times ago a roland sc545ex (sc540 upgraded)
all is ok since now.

The printer has started to print yellow into greeny yellow.
I have cleaned head , cleaned manually.
pump up by mistake ( remove line pump for prevent ink waste) and now when i print yellow is magenta, black is yellow and some other switch.
As i read sc540 and sc 545ex as some different head order.

i got a look into service mode without find anything interesting except maybe system switch but i didn't touch anything by lack of information.

the print test color : A Group Black/Cyan | B group: Magenta/yellow | C group : LCyan/LMagenta

It as always been like that and has working before without any head switch or something crazy i never switch cartridge.

So anyone as advice for sort ink problem without head switching ?
(we have contact rolanddg for a technician) but in case of someone has an solution.

Best regards

I am confused. What was changed to make the colors change order? So your nozzle check is identical to how it was before the problem appeared?

I am too we have do nothing just pump up and head clean and there it is.

A technician have spent half of day for didn't found how to solve this issue (the first tehcnician who has called me for the quote have say to me normally sc540 upgrade need to invert the head nozzle for match with sc545 but seem to not done and can after many year invert without prevent and finally just need to invert head but the technician does not has done this so it's hard to understand why)

Any super tech here for help us

What if you physically swap the dampers to the "correct" channels on the heads? I have no idea how the printer just started printing a different order. Something changed electronically. Maybe firmware upgrade? Point is if it thinks head 1 should be printing Cyan and Magenta, put the Cyan and Magenta ink lines on that head, Black and Yellow on head 2, etc. See how it prints then.
