Hope you're all having a 100% nozzles firing kind of day! The syringe for these Oce/Canon Arizona printers is for bleeding the ink filters to purge air. It has a threaded tip to securely engage the filter bleed line caps. The ink itself makes the plastic brittle and they tend to break after a while. Any part number or link to the very specific syringe in question would be greatly appreciated.
