SEG frame from Sign Comp

Hello forum.
We are about to put a large seg frame togehter. The plan is to get the frame from SignComp, the print from B2Sign and not sure what LED's should we use for the 3" frame. It's a wal mounted piece with dark background.
Do you have experience doing this?
What LED' shoudl we use? How far from each other should they be placed?

I would get it turnkey from SEG. They sell them pre-populated with LED's. Super easy assembly and install. Fair pricing. Great QC, crating, etc.
