So our Seiko moved it's carriage to the capping station and never came back... Well we pushed it back and capped the heads. When we boot up, I get an E0800 (power supply), if I bypass the initialization tests by holding shift + cancel, I get an engine error 1701 (y servo). I talked to Mike at Seiko and he was pretty sure it was the y servo. I fedex'd the servo, installed it and boom, same problem.
The power supply fans run, the lights all come up on the carriage board. I'm thinking one rail of the PSU is toast.
Any thoughts? Also, will the designjet 10k powersupply work in the Seiko? If so what is the correct part number? The HP parts tend to be cheaper (servo was half the price from hp).
Thanks,
