hi i have a seiko 64s which as been stood for a while and had a pump pipe burst .
i have replaced the pump pipe and now ready to ensure the head is clear before i start .
does anyone know if its ok to clean the heads with ipa or not .
or is there any shop bought liquids that can be used to clean the capping station and head .
cheers

I don't have a definite answer to your question, but I know for my Epson S50670, the head cleaning solution is nothing but pure acetone. We checked the MSDS etc. and it was nothing but Acetone so we have switched to that as it is much more cost effective than buying the epson product. I haven't checked with my seiko 64s as I have 3 bottles of the cleaning fluid left, but if you checked the msds it may state what it is made of and you could see.
