Hi every1... can sum1 pls help.. i have a error on my RS-640. when i start up it says service call 0101. I have taken a look at the encoder strip(which is clean) the sensor(which is undamaged) can sum1 pls help me get this machine up n running. Also if anyone has a list of error codes for RS-640 pls mail me. Spitrhymelyrics@gmail.com

Hi I have user manual for Roland SC545ex and in it I found this about service call 0101:

This is a Limit Position Error.
All parameters will be initialized. Turn on the sub
power switch while pressing [up ], [down ] and [ENTER]
keys.
Initialize can be performed by pressing the [ENTER]
key. It can also be cancelled by pressing the [POWER]
key. The power will be off automatically when initialize
is completed.
It is necessary to setup the LIMIT POSITION after the
initialization. The error message [SERVICE CALL
0101] will appear if you don't setup the LIMIT
POSITION.

thansk i have since been able to get printer online.. now i need to know how do i test the main board. there is a signal from main board to KC pheads but not to MY. if i swop flat cables that run from pheads to pcb then i manage to print MY but not KC so the problem is that there is no signal coming from main board.
