Service Call 0140 error ?

Hi All,

I have a Roland VP 540. It has suddenly come up with an error. The display tells me "Service Call 0140".

It was busy cutting a job and stopped suddenly.

Does anyone know what this could be???

Your help would be really appreciated.

Possibly a problem with the thermostat? Do you keep it in a cool to cold area?

Thermistor or Thermistor Cable Error on the dryer. Possibly shorted, damaged, disconnected or simply bad.

Had the local agent check it out and yes....I had to replace the thermostat.

Having the same service call dryer thermister message come up on my Roland VP 540. Were you able to install yourself?
