Service Mode for JV33

I need to get into the service mode on my JV33. Anyone know how to get into this area of the printer.

I need also the sequence to open the ports at the back of the ink cartridges. I want to use the syringe method of drawing ink into the capping station, and need to know how to open the do this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

is it not the same as the jv3 ?
hold function and remote when booting ?

I know this is an old thread, but I need to know this same information...the function/remote option isn't working for me for some reason. Need to open the solenoid to draw ink manually. Any other tips? Maybe I'm just doing something obvious totally wrong.
