Setting up Color Profiles In Flexi Sign

Shift Designs

New Member
I am trying to create new profiles in flexi sign. But for some reason when i scan my linearazation swatches, my curves are all WAY off. What causes this. I have reprinted and rescanned several time, but the curves are still off. Any help is greatly appeciated.

Do you mean they are not straight lines? That's normal and the entire reason you're linearizing.

If you are testing your linearization results by measuring the results of the linearization, don't expect Flexi to give very linear results. Personally I don't think editing the results is worth the hassle and I just move on but make sure I've got lots of patches in the icc target to pick up the slack.

Eye4clr is correct. As long as your linearization curves don't flatten out completely they should be fine. If you find them going horizontal, usually near the top of the curve. It's an indication your ink limit for that channel is too high.
