Need Help SG540 pinch roller lever broken

Hi All,
I am new here and pretty new to the signage game so I am looking for help. My Roland SG540 pinch roller lever stopped working, after removing a few panels I found one of the grub screws laying broken and the other managed to loose to the point that it was not holding plate and lever together.

Has anyone else had this problem? Roland told me we need to be more gentle but I think this is factory problem. I can’t see how normal use can cause the problem.

Very strange, we have an SG-300. Have had many issues with this machine, but nothing to do with the pinch roller lever, and I use both sides (from front and from the back one). But I would agree that it must have been a defect with your unit, as my levers feel quite rigid. Also, as a work around for the time being until you get the new parts, you could use the other lever depending which one broke.
