Shop Bot having difficulty communicating w/ Control Box

My shop bot keeps stopping in the middle of a job with the error message

"You are having difficulty communicating with the Control Box.
Missing Comm. Return."

Then it prompts me to Hit okay to attempt to continue but the connection is lost to shop bot.

I started to get this message when I first cut HDU. Now I am getting it on Acrylic and Wood as well. I re-configured the grounding on the computer and Vaccum assuming it was caused by the static.

It seems as if I have eliminated the static but keep getting this error message. Any suggestion?

Sometimes on my shopbot when I had a comm error I would have to reload the file that tells the Control software what type of Shopbot you have. I can't remember the steps but it's in the setup in the ops manual.

Also- it could be the USB cable if it's damaged- the cable is not looped anywhere is it? This can cause interference.
