Shopsabre with quill or thermoformed

I’m trying to decide if I should buy a Shopsabre with a quill Braille attachment, or buy unfinished thermoformed ada signs.

Does anyone have experience with a Shopsabre with quill attachment? What are your thoughts?
Printing Braille worries me because the braille isn’t one piece with the substrate and seems to be easily picked off (I think).
