AdamAhern Sign Solutions is a full service design and fabrication/installation company located in Hartford CT. We are looking for fabricators and installers. Signage industry experience is preferred but not required. We seek a team player, an imaginative and artistic problem-solver with a mechanical aptitude who is looking for a job with variety and creativity. Opportunity is for long-term employment.
Able to read and interpret shop drawings and determine the methods of fabrication, size of material and equipment to be used.
Able to set up and operate fabrication equipment and hand tools to cut, bend and form materials for fabrication.
Understands and has basic welding skills for fabrication of aluminum and steel
Erects ladders scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas to hang signs.
Sign fabrication experience required, minimum 3 years experience
Skills / Requirements:
Quality focused mechanical aptitude
Self-starter, motivated, problem solver & has ability to work with little direction
Knowledge in how to build sign cabinets, channel letters, architectural signs (a definite plus)
Reliable personal transportation and clean driving record
Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift over 75 lbs
Working electrical knowledge (a plus)
Painting experience (a plus)
Willingness to grow, well grounded and looking for a future
Salary range is based upon experience with a full benefits package including health insurance and retirement. No relocation is being offered.
