We are currently conducting the 2015-2016 Signs & Wide Format Pricing Survey and all firms involved in producing in-house products such as this are encouraged to participate.
At this point in the survey, we know that HP and Roland lead the pack when it comes to popular printers in the wide format arena. The average width being reported for these devices is 50", with ecosolvents, latex and aqueous being ranked 1,2 and 3 resdpectively in terms of popularity.
As for Rips, Onyx and Roland Versaworks are to the two most popular reported so far. The new survey not only reports on the most popular printers and rips but also reports ratings as well.
Although based on some very preliminary data subject to change, the averagte charge per square foot for gloss or matte laminating is $2.95. Dry-Erase laminating is running at $4.28 per square foot.
Printing and mounting to Foamcore (3/16" or 1/4") is reported at $7.68 per square foot.
Aluminum Signs, 18 x 24", .04 thickness, in quantities of 3-9 is $47.66 each.
Coroplast - 24 x 36" (printing and mounting), in quantities of 3-9 are $52.33 each.
